The scariest thing that ever happened to Julius Caesar before he died was when he was kidnapped by pirates. While sailing to Greece for further study, Caesar was kidnapped by Cilician pirates and held for ransom. When he was informed that he was only being held for 20 talents he joked, becuase he knows he was worth more than 50 to his people. Julius Caesar joked with them, but he told them after he was realesed that he would find them and crusify them. After Julius Caesar was realeased with many people's help they were able to track down the people, and kill them. This experience must of been scary for Julius, because he knew that he had the possbility to be killed. If I was Julius I would of tried to escape or do something not just sit there. There is a rumor that when the roman governmet paid the pirates, and when they caught them they got their money back.
Julius Caesar has had a very tough life. When he was about sixteen years old his father died. All throughout his life he has witnessed a lot of drama. With his mom getting remarryied, and then getting divorced. When he was really young he got married then got a divorce not to long after. Caesar, on the staff of a military legate, was awarded the civic crown (oak leaves) for saving the life of a citizen in battle. His leading general sent him on an embassy to Nicomedes, the king of Bithynia to obtain a fleet of ships. Caesar was successful, and had obtained the ships. Caesar whent back home and became a lawyer. That was when he started himslef in the world of pollatics.

The reason why I picked this topic is because I thought it was an interesting topic. When we discussed it in class I wanted to find out a lot more information about this topic. I also wanted tosee what happened when Julius Caesar was murdered, and what it would do to the great roman empire. Another reason I picked this topic was, because I thought it would be fun to learn about. Also i found a bunch of interesting facts. Julius Caesar was the last dictator of the roman republic. Julius's family genes date back to the first roman empire. Julius Caesar was related by marriage to Marius. Julius when he was young was captured by early pirates.

Where Julius Caesar was murdered was in the heart of the roman empire. Julius rulled over a lot of the empire. Why the assasination was important because it affected the whole entrie roman empire. It set them in an direction which would affect them forevor. If julius Ceasar would of not died who knows what the world would of turned out to be like. At the rate which they were going at the roman empire would of probably ruled the world. Yes, it was a terrible thing, but it changed the way we live today. Julius Ceasar was the key to the roman empire's success, and that was taken away from them. There also would of not been a second triamitve, because julius would of not gaven up his thrown.

When the assasination took place the roman empire was the biggest empire the world has ever seen. His assination set the roman empire's course forevor. The emporer was murdered on March 14. This sent the empire into a whirling spin, and it took them many years to find their way out of it. They say that Julius Caesar's murder was a mistake, but the world will never know. The Roman empire were in an kinda contraversy, because of the way the government was ran. Julius Caesar was known as a very strict leader. That is some of the reason he was murdered. Julius Caesar was kinda in a way like Abraham Lincoln, because he was killed for doing the right thing.
